Every Spring since 1989 the Methodist Foundation of the First United Methodist Church has offered
Scholarships to "Christian" graduates of the four public high schools on the Monterey Peninsula. The Scholarship
Committee actively solicits applications from high school seniors for one of our $1000 awards.Donations to the Foundation have made possible 88 Scholarship awards to Christian High School Seniors living on the Monterey Peninsula. The 88 Scholarships equal $44,000 that these students have been able to apply towards the ever increasing college expense.
